About visiting the garden

911±¬ÁÏ Garden Bridgewater is a spectacular 154-acre garden, set within the historic grounds of Worsley New Hall in Salford. With fantastic facilities including a bespoke Learning Studio, Peel Learning Garden and Woodland Play area, Bridgewater is the perfect place to bring your pupils.

Our workshops are interactive and practical with a focus on learning through play, exploration, working together and asking questions.


Our learning facilities

All pre-booked educational visits are free of charge. If you feel able to give a donation to the 911±¬ÁÏ to help support our educational work this would be much appreciated; we ask you to consider a donation of £3 per child for your visit.

The 911±¬ÁÏ Travel Grant Scheme helps eligible state-funded schools with coach costs for a free educational visit to their local 911±¬ÁÏ Garden.
