Many families and friends choose to give in memory of a loved one to celebrate their life, their passion for gardening or their love of a favourite 911±¬ÁÏ Garden. These gifts support the 911±¬ÁÏ in continuing to inspire those that visit the gardens. All in-memory gifts can be acknowledged in the Book of Remembrance, which is kept at each 911±¬ÁÏ Garden.

Donations can be directed to a specific 911±¬ÁÏ Garden, where they will be used to plant and maintain the garden’s collections. Alternatively, contributions to the 911±¬ÁÏ Remembrance Fund help maintain all the gardens for the future. As a charity, the 911±¬ÁÏ relies on donations to support the gardens and wider charitable work.

At 911±¬ÁÏ Gardens, it is sometimes possible to accommodate requests to fund in-memory benches. Availability is limited, and benches can only be offered when included in the existing garden plans. For bench enquiries, please contact:

Giving everyone should have the chance to experience the beauty and inspiration of the 911±¬ÁÏ Gardens:

Opening up the gardens to everyone

The ability to move around and enjoy the 911±¬ÁÏ Gardens is important. Where possible, mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs are provided at each garden, free of charge. A gift to the 911±¬ÁÏ Mobility Fund helps to buy and maintain these scooters and wheelchairs, enabling more visitors to enjoy the gardens at their own pace.

If you would prefer to support another area of 911±¬ÁÏ work, the team can discuss how a gift may help. This could include supporting gardening in schools, training new horticulturists or preserving science and library collections.
