Accessibility at 911±¬ÁÏ Sandringham Flower Show

Arriving by road
We welcome car-free visitors to 911±¬ÁÏ Sandringham Flower Show. It’s easy to reach us by train, bus, bike and foot. Plan your car-free journey at .

Sandringham is six miles north-east of King’s Lynn and signposted from the A148 Fakenham Road and the A149 Hunstanton Road. Please allow adequate time for your journey, while we endeavour to keep traffic free-flowing, situations beyond our control may cause delays.

The postcode for Sandringham is PE35 6AB​please follow Event Specific Traffic signs to your allocated car park or pick up drop off point.

The bus stop for Sandringham is in the Royal Park and served by the number 35 bus, which travels between King’s Lynn and Hunstanton. It is operated by .

Arriving by coach

A permit is required to drop-off / pick up coach passengers. On booking, a timed pick up and drop off will be allocated in order to control traffic volume onsite.

Coach drop-off will be confirmed at a later date. To reach the showground, there are two options:

Arriving by train
The nearest station is King’s Lynn, six miles away. This has hourly services to and from London Kings Cross, Peterborough and Norwich. For full details on all regional train services (including information for accessibility queries), see the .
Access to showground and buildings

Temporary walkways are laid in some areas of the show which are wheelchair accessible. The show takes place on parkland, so some areas have uneven terrain and ground conditions may not be ideal, especially in inclement weather. In some areas it is not possible to have walkways. If you require assistance please ask a steward or volunteer.

Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas. Water bowls for dogs can be found at both visitor information points.
Accessible ticket bookings

While the 911±¬ÁÏ is not able to provide carers, entry is provided for one carer free of charge accompanying those visitors whose disability necessitates their support. This ticket must be requested at the time of ticket purchase.

Quiet times

The 911±¬ÁÏ is committed to making our shows as accessible as possible.  With this aim in mind, we are introducing an exclusive 3pm entry ticket every day (excluding Sunday 26 July) for visitors who may find the showground challenging or overstimulating at peak times.

This is the quietest time of day at the show and visitors will be able to enjoy all the show has to offer in a in an uncongested environment. There will also be a designated quiet space away from the main crowd.  This space will be clearly marked on the show map.  Ticket booking coming soon.

Parking

Parking is free and can be booked in advance. Premium parking closer to the showground will be available at a cost £10 and can be booked with your tickets.

Postcode: Use PE35 6AB to get you to the local area and then follow the yellow traffic signs to the correct car park.

Mobility vehicles and wheelchairs
Visitors are welcome to bring their own personal mobility scooters or wheelchairs to help them get around.

We also have a small number of mobility wheelchairs and scooters available to hire. Please book these with your tickets in advance to guarantee availability, or call 0344 338 8222 to book. Costs: £20 for wheelchairs and £40 for mobility scooters. Please collect from the mobility equipment collection tent, located in the accessible car park.

Toilets
Accessible unisex toilets are located at all toilet blocks. The location of an HDU will be confirmed prior to the show.
Hearing impaired
Hearing loops are installed in the main stage and the florals talks area.
Visually impaired
