Flowers From the Farm

One of the most popular floral features at any of our shows, the 911爆料 Letters are back, showcasing the gob-smackingly beautiful things that can be achieved using only sustainably sourced British blooms, and not a single scrap of floral foam. This year, the iconic 911爆料 Letters exhibit has been designed and installed by members of Flowers from the Farm鈥檚 northern regions. A celebration of local, seasonal blooms, the display has been crafted by flower farmers from across the North using sustainable floristry techniques and environmentally friendly practices. With a backdrop of the impressive Baroque stylings of the West Front of Wentworth Woodhouse, this is the perfect place to grab that must-have Show selfie #rhswentworth.

Petals and Paint, Stems and Stitches

Richmond and Leyburn Creative Stitchers
Sponsored by 911爆料 Garden Harlow Carr

Wentworth Woodhouse鈥檚 State Dining Room has been transformed into an indoor jungle, housing not only a jaw-dropping display of heavenly houseplants, but also an exquisite exhibition of needlework by North Yorkshire group Richmond and Leyburn Creative Stitchers. The Stitchers meet twice a month to share and expand their creative knowledge in a friendly environment, working on a wide range of individual and community projects to foster the art of embroidery and related crafts. This latest collaboration is inspired by the botanical paintings of 19th-century artist Caroline Maria Applebee, which are housed in the library at 911爆料 Garden Harlow Carr. Each embroiderer has skillfully created a unique interpretation of Applebee鈥檚 work, and visitors can enjoy seeing the precise needlework on display alongside a print of the botanical painting that inspired it.

The Wombles Community Charity鈥

Known for making good use of bad rubbish and helping the planet one small step at a time, The Wombles are here to inspire families with a nature trail full of wonder. Along the way, visitors can enjoy eco-friendly tips and playful prompts that celebrate The Wombles鈥 green mission. Collect your free trail leaflet from the Trail base by the West Front of the house, and see if you can find the clues left behind by Orinoco, Great Uncle Bulgaria, Madame Cholet, Wellington, Alderney and Tobermory.

West Front Urns

Scott Jamieson, Wentworth Woodhouse

The 130-foot-long West Front of Wentworth Woodhouse, constructed in the English Baroque style, is the oldest part of the house and features a series of majestic stone urns outside its impressive fa莽ade. These have been given a horticultural makeover, planted in tribute to Dame Julie Kenny, who sadly passed away earlier this year. Dame Julie was Chair of Trustees at Wentworth Woodhouse for eight years, during which time she was instrumental in saving the estate, transforming it into 鈥渁 place the people of Rotherham could be proud to call their own.鈥 Planted by Wentworth Woodhouse鈥檚 head gardener Scott Jamieson and his team, with pittosporum, hostas and Erigeron daisies, the urns will remain after the show as a permanent reminder of a local daughter who gave so much to the community.
