Show Gardens legacy

The 911±¬ÁÏ Shows are constantly driving towards a lower carbon footprint and as part of the 911±¬ÁÏ Sustainability Strategy they aim to become net positive within the decade. Part of this process is the relocation, reuse and repurposing of show gardens from 911±¬ÁÏ Shows

What is the garden legacy?

While the Green Audit works towards making the build of the gardens as sustainable as possible, the Garden Legacy looks to reduce waste by ensuring gardens have a life after the shows. All show gardens must have a plan to be relocated, reused or repurposed.

The 911±¬ÁÏ Shows team gathers information on each garden’s legacy, and this database is regularly updated. The repurposed gardens are carefully adapted to their new locations. Please bear in mind these are not in a show setting â€“ they are real gardens, looked after by the communities that enjoy them.
