In 2024 Ashleigh Aylett’s The Woodland Trust: 49% Garden won 911±¬ÁÏ Gold, Best in Category and the titile of 911±¬ÁÏ Young Designer of the Year at 911±¬ÁÏ Flower Show Tatton Park.
For the past two years, Ashleigh has worked as a garden designer at John Davies & Emily Erlam’s combined London studio. Before that, she trained and worked as an interior designer with a focus on commercial projects. Ashleigh is looking forward to starting her own design studio in the near future.

Ashleigh says: “I’m extremely proud of my Woodland Trust Show Garden at 911±¬ÁÏ Tatton, where our design earned a Gold Medal in 2024, and I was honored to
receive the 911±¬ÁÏ Young Designer of the Year award. The garden highlighted the alarming loss of 49% of ‘trees outside woods’ in the British countryside and addressed biosecurity challenges for the future. It was a project that not only created a striking visual impact but also conveyed a crucial message about the need to protect and restore our woodlands, making it one of my most meaningful designs to date.”
