Miscanthus is a species of perennial, clump-forming grasses that do not have invasive spreading rhizomes, so they鈥檙e easily contained within gardens of all sizes. Although they are hardy, many of them will not flower in cooler European summers, however this is a particularly elegant and versatile form. Its slender green blades have narrow cream margins, and they arch gently at their tips to create a fountain-like effect. In warm summers, you will also be rewarded with reddish brown flowers that open in October and endure through the winter.
